What can you do?

As Canadians, we’re all in this boat together. Should Canada cease to be a sovereign country and our future lives and life prospects be determined by other whose priorities will inevitably be based on their interests rather than ours, we will all be at risk. The statement that Canada must give up its sovereignty is one of those genies which can’t be put back into the bottle.  The previously unthinkable has been said, our world has now changed, and we can each choose either to ignore that stressful new reality in the hope that wiser heads will prevail, or do something to reduce the risk of it happening.  This website is intended as a resource for those for whom the latter choice better resonates.

There are numerous things that you could do if you so choose to make a positive difference.  Examples include:

1. Engage in serious conversations with family members, friends, neighbours, co-workers and fellow members of your church, school, club or other organizations on what the pressure on Canada means, what the possible outcomes might be, how best to discourage aggression, and what you might do should it happen anyway. Wearing one of our buttons can help stimulate those important conversations.
2. Better inform yourself of what’s going on within Canada, in the USA and globally with respect to the rapidly changing threats and Canada’s responses to them.  Choose media that provide in-depth reporting on those issues and share what you learn with those around you.  On this site, we intend to help by providing links, resources, news updates, as well as opportunities for you to share your thoughts, concerns and what you have learned.
3. Participate in marches, rallies and public events related to these issues.  We will post local ones on our home page and hope to sponsor some of our own.
4. If you live in the Kingston area, consider volunteering some of your time and abilities to assist us with the above.  Without more volunteers, there are serious limits as to what we can do and how quickly we can do it.  Use the “Want to get involved” sign-up mechanism below. If you live in another community, consider creating your own such citizens’ activist group.  We will endeavor to help you by sharing information, resources and experience.

Our lapel buttons are a powerful symbol of solidarity and resistance. To obtain one, visit our distribution tables at local events in Kingston or order one through this site once we build that capability. These buttons are not just accessories; they are conversation starters and a visible commitment to Canada’s sovereignty. Join us in spreading awareness and proudly wear your button to inspire others to stand with Canada.

Since we still lack a funding source, we generally suggest a voluntary $1 per button donation to offset our out-of-pocket expenses for producing them. We have thus far made them available at selected events, but will soon enable you to order from among our many designs on this site.
